Liverpool to make surprise move for ex-player Crouch
The Sunday Mirror claims Liverpool will make a shock bid for former striker Peter Crouch in an attempt to lure the Portsmouth man back to Anfield.
The tabloid claims that Reds boss Rafael Benitez is hoping to sign the England international beanpole for a cut-price £4 million, despite having sold him to Pompey for more than twice that amount less than 12 months ago.
